Follow the Oliba Track game and become a copyist monk for a while

Let us recommend two really fun activities that help the little ones understand the medieval world and thereby get to know the historical figure of Oliba, forefront to the history of Catalonia.

OLIBA BISHOP AND THE LOST MANUSCRIPT, is the name of the track game, with clues to search for the lost manuscript. This is for families and children between 6 and 12. By following the track game you will discover not only the town, but the footprint left by the notable Bishop and Abbot Oliba. There are a series of tests to pass as you play the game and get to know the historic quarter of Vic.

THE RIPOLL SCRIPTORIUM is where you can become a copyist monk. With a goose feather, a hollow straw, a metal nib, and a little bit of ink, the idea is to make a personalized bookmark to take home with you, using either of caroline or gothic lettering, and you’ll feel like a real copyist monk.
