Located at an altitude of 1,283 meters within the Grand Parc de France of the Massif and the Balcons du Canigó, the Refugi de Sant Guillem de Combret is open from the first weekend of April to the last weekend of October. It is energy independent and is part of the network of five staffed refuges in the massif.
With a maximum capacity of 40 beds, of which 10 are available in the picnic room during the unstaffed period, it combines comfort and a sense of refuge: bedrooms, toilets, showers, underfloor heating, professional kitchen, dining room, a small living room with library and games room, bar area, takeaway lunch boxes, south-facing terrace, mountain bike room, horse park and equipment storage.
Located on the south slope, it allows you to explore a region rich in heritage all year round, whether hiking, horseback riding or mountain biking. The renovation of this former corral, led by the Community of Communes of Haut-Vallespir, is part of a sustainable development and tourism initiative. To promote mobility throughout the mountain range, car access is regulated (a 6 km track is closed from July 1 to August 31).Opening period: From the first weekend of April to the last weekend of October
