The refuge of les Mariailles, located in the heart of the Canigó massif, is a place of coexistence and sharing. In the middle of nature and magnificent landscapes, you will find a change of scenery, isolation, comfort, rest and peace. Whether you are experienced hikers planning to hike the Canigó, the sacred mountain of the Catalans, for several days, or if you are simply mountain lovers in search of extraordinary panoramas, the refuge welcomes you, pampers you and accommodates you.
For the 2025 season, the refuge will welcome you on the weekend of May 8, 9 and 10, 2025, and every day from May 24, 2025 until the end of October. A date to be determined depending on weather conditions. The access road to the refuge is closed to vehicles on Coll de Jou all year round by decision of the ONF (French Forestry Office), owner of the road. It will take 1.5 to 2 hours to walk to the refuge. Please take this time into account in your travel plans. Reservations are required and can be made on this website. For overnight stays only, reservations will be made by phone during the season, subject to availability.
