Accommodation for hikers (rooms and dormitories) with a capacity of 25 people in the Lentilla valley. Ballestavy is a town closely linked to the activity of the iron mines and is an essential stop on the Canigó tour.
The municipality of Baillestavy has two buildings rented as gîtes. Reservations can be made for nights (arrival after 4:00 p.m. and departure before 10:00 a.m. the following day), with a maximum capacity of 25 people, exclusively through the manager of the gîte, who can be contacted at +33 6 25 73 59 25.
Cafeteria - Restaurant de la Farga Meals can be enjoyed, with prior reservation, at the Cafè de la Farga, managed by the Horizon association. The cafeteria is open on weekends during the low season (from September to June) and 6 days a week during the high season (July-August).
The café-restaurant is currently temporarily closed awaiting a new owner.
Gîte with rooms:
This building is located in the upper part of the village (La Torre). It can accommodate 13 people in four separate rooms (three rooms with three single beds each and one room with four single beds). 1 person), 3 showers (in 2 bathrooms), a fully equipped kitchen and a shared dining room. A washing machine and a fireplace are available for tenants. An awning adjacent to the house allows for outdoor dining.
The rates are as follows (same rates for all periods) from January 1, 2017 (tourist tax included):
€17/night/bed (if one person wants the entire room to themselves, the rate is €51 for a room with 3 beds, for example). For the New Year and Christmas holidays, rentals must be booked from the morning of December 24 (or December 31) to the evening of December 25 (or January 1, respectively) for a fixed rate of €300.
Rural house:
This rural house is located in the upper part of the village (La Torre) and can accommodate 12 people in a single room, including bedrooms and a small kitchen. The toilet is separate and a shower is available in a separate room.
The rates are as follows (same rates for all periods) from January 1, 2017 (tourist tax included):
