Ca la Rotllada

Ca Rotllada is a typical Catalan “masia”, and an antique boarding house documented in the XIV century, that had a great significance and reputation until a few decades due to it was obliged stop for traders and horse men in the middle way of camí ral from Vic to Olot, one of the most travelled in the country. The white coloured façade was very common at that time for houses that accommodate guests used to be painted in white to make them well-recognized. Located in Cantonigròs, in Collsacabra, in a protected natural area. This area shapes a singular plateau, which is well worth to be contemplate from any point of view. In a unbeatable environment, “El Sot de Ca la Rotllada” gets surrounded by Caselles and the savage wall of Pla d'Aiats, and other “masies”, all of them perfectly conserved and careful with the environment, that all together draw an idyllic landscape. Nowadays you can find 8 tourist dwellings and a small restaurant for the guests, where Maria and Toni, will make their best to make you have a pleasant stay.
