The route that joins Tavertet to Rupit is a classic walk even among great hikes. It is a perfect stage with all the ingredients to seduce walkers and excursionists. The incredible views from the rocky crags are beyond comparison; the masies we find along the path are unique and old. The vegetation is varied, green and lush, with thousand year old sessile and pedunculate oaks, exquisite European beeches, and shady glens. Finally we come to Rupit, as quaint as the Bethlehem stable, a perfect representation of the architecture of a Catalan mountain village with its rich cuisine and local, genuine products from the fields.
