This is an intermediate level, predominately downhill. The short uphill stretch to the collada de Sant Bartomeu (mountain pass) and then back up from Ges to Vidrà are the unique ascents. The rest of the walk is nearly all downhill from the Curull sierra and from the Llancers, and then into the valley of Ges. Vidrà is so enchanting after the pure mountainous stage, and there you are invited to taste its fine food and to have a little stroll. In Vidrà you will find everything, but above all a warm welcome.
